as for the real issue, who cares? it wont be a problem at all until ping times are so close worldwide that everyone can race fair with no lag in an overseas comp, and thats probably a long time from happening

EDIT: and even if someone didnt realise the difference, does it matter if some people believe a slower driver (just using it for a point not saying the euro scr is slower) is in the aussie scr? im in a fast team and im slow as all hell compared and my team doesnt care, i dont care, and i dont think anyone else i race with cares.

i cant remember his name sorry but the guy who got a real life racing deal from playing lfs, maybe scawen should try to convince the bmw guys to let him in on the bmw comp it would be absolutely awesome having an lfs player to go for in the comp and no doubt he would own the lfs component.

i miss the hole in the ground near the blackwood start next to the barrier where you could drive into it and it would make you do flips. and the burn out area to the left just after the finish

i think the new patch is awesome, but the things that people really wanted fixed arent much better :/ the ai drivers are still as dumb as dog shlt. il still play the game non stop, but ill bltch and moan all the way to the finish

umm. theres no starter motor on atleast the bf1. this is all fine and dandy, but when you cut the engine doing a hundred k's in gear it doesnt fire back up. if its done so realistically it doesnt have a starter motor shouldnt it atleast beable to be push started?

i dont really like the standard sounds, i prefer the sound of the more higher performance cars to be ear tearing as it makes it feel more involving.

spills: go to the thread (its somewhere around here, its not a sticky but it will be on the first or second page in one of the mod/addon forums) and download a heap, chuck them all in your folder and just go through them until you find ones you like) you can change them more yourself to (shift-a or control-a or something like that)

you can cut corners in races, you cant (as far as i know) in hotlapping.

yeah was thinking that, but then if you have a fill in driver he wouldnt be able to do it. which was why i was thinking the connection list thing each race.

i dont think iv ever pitted on the track in reverse, but i find the pit entry going normal way is hard to spot in the faster cars so id be all for the change.

i dont understand what you mean astro? if theres invite/accept/refuse buttons next to peoples names you only have to show your strategy to the people that are in your team that you accept being with. it links you as a team so they can access and change your pit settings in race.
races dont always work out as planned or we would all be winners every race
one racer could use up tyres or fuel more then planned from lots of bumps in the back end, early brakers, a crash etc.

Im currently doing a driver swap series thing and last night we had to make corrections for the pitstop in race. however it was hard because the person spectating (3 drivers, 2 cars) cant see their teammates fuel load and change the settings.

i was thinking a half decent solution (driver swap races are really fun to if you havnt done one before ) would be to use the connection's screen to select/accept/reject teams so that you could have access to their pit strategy screen.

i dont know anything about coding but i would assume this wouldnt be a massive fix?

personally id love to see them stay that way, only go alot faster as on pro they are still so bloody slow. i like it how they ignore you because it helps teach you how to pass without taking lines off people and crashing. also helps with following cars with different braking points.

If i understand what you mean correctly, you bought an S2 license aswell as a S1 to S2 ungrade? You could try contacting LFS on the normal LFS page to try and get a refund for one of them? Theres no point in paying twice.

you guys spend more time bltching about people asking the same questions then if you just answered them sometimes. if it mentions rain and your sick of answering, just dont go into the thread. its that easy

Just out of curiousity,

does anyone know if or heard rumours that there is going to be rain in future versions of LFS? it would be awesome, although im guessing hard to make work in the game.

and also, i doubt it, but it would be awesome if in future versions you could select a full track area to free roam in where all the sections are open and you can just race around wherever you want. its just iv found some corners that would be wicked and challanging but because no track combination allows the good entry and exit for it i cant have a go.

if you have any info so i can stop wishing and start waiting would be great
